Consumer Intelligence is on-demand consumer spending insight built on Canadian credit card transaction data. It is built for retailers, marketers, product teams, e-commerce operators, and site selectors who need real consumer spending intelligence without a six-figure data contract.

How does pay-per-query pricing work compared to a data license?

Instead of a $30,000 to $100,000 per year data license, you pay only for the queries you run. You load a credit budget, ask what you want, get the insight, and pay only for that. Example queries range from about $5 for a local spend-and-growth question to roughly $50 for ranking the most underserved markets in Canada for your category.

What data does Consumer Intelligence cover?

Consumer Intelligence is built on Canadian credit card transaction data with continuous coverage from 2019 to 2026. It tracks every FSA and neighbourhood across Canada, 350,000 merchant locations, and roughly 3.5 billion transactions a year across 455 categories of data.

What consumer questions can I ask?

Operators use Consumer Intelligence to answer what people in a specific area actually spend money on and whether it is growing, where customers come from and how far they travel to spend, whether a real-world event actually changed spending and whether it stuck, whether a category is shifting online or in-store in a given market, and how to rank candidate locations for a concept before signing a lease.

Can I use Consumer Intelligence from Excel or an AI assistant?

Yes. Beyond the web interface, Consumer Intelligence is available through MCP and Excel, so you can query Canadian consumer spending data directly from Claude, other MCP-compatible clients, or your spreadsheets.

How to join the beta

The beta package gives you 5,000 query credits ($500 value). The $75 deposit holds your seat, and the remaining $425 is charged 48 hours before launch (you can always opt-out). If you’re not satisfied at the end of the pilot, 50% of your unused credits are refunded. We’re targeting the start of the beta for late July, the 15th of August at the latest.

No expensive yearly lock-up. Pay as you go. If you go over your credits during the beta, you can always add more.
